Legal FAQ
Last updated: 7 July 2026 · HeptaPower SARL
Short, honest answers to the legal questions people ask most about HeptaCopier. This page is a plain-language summary, the full detail is in our Terms of Service.
Is HeptaCopier regulated? Do you need a financial licence?
No. We are a software company, not a financial institution. We do not hold your funds, give advice, or execute trades on your behalf, so we do not need a financial licence. You keep trading through your own broker, exactly as before.
Is copy trading legal?
Copying trades between accounts you own is normal and widely used. Any limits come from your broker's or prop firm's own rules on automation and account management, not from the copier itself.
Do you take my broker password or touch my money?
No. The Bridge runs locally on your own device, and you sign in to your own trading terminals yourself. We never receive your broker password and we never hold or move your funds.
Can I use HeptaCopier with a prop firm?
It depends on that firm's rules about automation and copying. Read their terms first. We do not guarantee that using HeptaCopier complies with any particular firm, and we are not responsible for any decision a broker or prop firm makes about your account.
Can I lose money?
Yes. Trading leveraged products such as forex and CFDs is high-risk, and copy trading multiplies both gains and losses across accounts. Only use risk capital you can afford to lose. Past performance is not indicative of future results.
Are you a financial adviser?
No. Nothing in the software or on the website is investment, financial, tax or legal advice. If you need advice, speak to a licensed professional.
Who is responsible for my trades?
You are. You control the connected accounts, the copy settings, and every trading decision. HeptaCopier is a tool that carries out the settings you choose.
Where are you based and what law applies?
HeptaPower SARL is registered in Tunisia. Our terms are governed by Tunisian law, alongside any mandatory consumer rights you have in your own country.
How do I delete my account and data?
Email [email protected] from your account address. We will delete your personal data, keeping only what we are legally required to retain (for example for tax records).
