Refund Policy

This Refund Policy is part of our Terms of Service. Because we offer a free trial so you can test HeptaCopier before paying, paid subscriptions are generally non-refundable, with the exceptions set out below. Nothing in this policy limits your statutory rights, including the EU/EEA/UK rights in section 8 and your legal remedies if the service does not work as described.

1. Try before you pay

Before subscribing, you can test HeptaCopier using a free trial or trial credits. For this reason, subscriptions are generally non-refundable once purchased.

2. When we do give a refund

Subscriptions are refunded in full in these cases:

  • you cannot access the service because of a verified technical issue on our side;
  • a reproducible defect or malfunction occurs that is not caused by your own configuration or settings;
  • a refund is required by applicable law.

3. Active subscriptions only

Refunds apply only to active subscriptions. Expired or already ended subscriptions cannot be refunded, except where section 8 or applicable law requires otherwise, or where the request relates to a verified service failure that occurred during the paid term.

4. Promotional codes

Subscriptions purchased with a promotional or discount code are non-refundable, unless a refund is required by applicable law or in the case of a confirmed service failure.

5. Cryptocurrency payments

Where we accept cryptocurrency, an approved refund of a cryptocurrency payment is calculated on the price you paid at the time of purchase. It is returned in the same cryptocurrency or an equivalent stablecoin, to a wallet address you designate. Blockchain network fees may be deducted from the refunded amount, except where the law requires a refund free of charge.

6. Abuse and fraud

We reserve the right to deny a refund request where we detect abuse, fraudulent activity, or attempts to exploit this policy or circumvent the subscription terms. This does not limit any refund right you have under applicable law, including section 8.

7. Case-by-case review

Goodwill refunds outside sections 2 and 8 are reviewed individually and remain at the reasonable discretion of HeptaPower SARL, subject to these terms and applicable law.

8. EU/EEA/UK: 14-day right of withdrawal

If you are a consumer in the EU, EEA or UK, you have the right to withdraw from your subscription contract within 14 days of entering into it, without giving a reason.

When you subscribe, you expressly ask us to start the service immediately. If you withdraw within the 14 days, we refund everything you paid, minus a proportionate amount for the part of the service already provided up to the moment you told us you withdraw. The withdrawal right no longer applies once your paid billing period has been fully delivered with your prior express consent and your acknowledgment that the right is then lost.

To withdraw, send a clear statement to [email protected] before the deadline. You can use this model text (not mandatory): “I hereby withdraw from my contract for HeptaCopier, ordered on [date], name [your name], email [your email].”

If you validly withdraw, we issue the refund within 14 days of your withdrawal, using the same payment method, at no extra cost to you.

9. Cancelling your subscription

You can cancel auto-renewal at any time from your account, before the end of the current term. Your access continues until the end of the paid term, and the subscription does not renew after that. Cancelling does not, by itself, refund the current term.

10. How to request a refund

Email [email protected] from the address on your account, with your account details and the reason for the request. We respond to refund requests within 3 business days. Approved refunds are issued within 7 business days; depending on your bank or card issuer, the funds may take an additional 5 to 10 business days to appear on your statement.

If you are unhappy with a charge, please contact us first, before disputing it with your bank or card issuer. Most issues are resolved within a few business days.
